Saturday 29th June 2013 - I completed my detailed research on the option of a planned trip/event to The Lowry Theatre in Salford, Manchester and how it would overall work as a tourist destination for the events project. I researched in detail its feasibility, location, price, appearance  cost, contact details, information, comparisons, options and benefits for group visitors, itineraries for the day, other events and tourist destinations in the Salford Quays area which could be combined to make the most of the day trip, how the day trip would plan out, activities that would be relevant, beneficial and appropriate for the target audience age group of college students, the different shows/events at the Lowry at the time of the intended visit (Mid-October/October) and also the possibility of using questionnaires to get information from relevant subject teachers/students in order to establish what would be the most effective, relevant and beneficial trip/event to take students on. Overall I gathered and made the finishing touches on my Research of The Lowry Theatre and the surrounding area as a tourist destination in order to establish the feasibility of this trip throughout.
